2015년 3월 21일부터 6월 21일까지 CICA 미술관에서 선보이는 “Across Voices – 속삼임”에서는 국내외에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 영상 및 뉴미디어 아티스트들의 작품들을 소개한다. 참여 작가는 Matt Kenyon, Heidi Kumao, Sarah Nesbitt, Norberto Gomez, Justin Lincoln, LaTurbo Avedon, 정정주, 하병원, 김준성, 신이피, 김리진으로, 모마 (MoMA)와 시그래프 (Siggraph), 구겐하임 펠로우쉽 (Guggenheim Fellowship)등을 통해 소개되는 등 국제적으로 활발한 활동을 벌이고 있는 작가들이 참여하였다. 이번 전시에서는 작가의 작품뿐만이 아니라 작가의 생각을 담은 인터뷰 및 에세이를 소개함으로써 관객과 아티스트간의 간극을 줄이고 서로의 소통을 돕고자 하였다. 이는 4월 초 책 “New Media Art 2015: Across Voices – 속삭임”으로 출판될 예정이며, 주요 서점에서 만나볼 수 있다.
“Across Voices,” the group show at CICA Museum from March 21 to June 21, 2015, features video and new media artists from the United States and Korea. Featuring artists are Matt Kenyon, Heidi Kumao, Sarah Nesbitt, Norberto Gomez, Justin Lincoln, LaTurbo Avedon, Jeong-joo Jeong, Byeongwon Ha, Junsung Kim, Sin ifie, and Leejin Kim. Their works have been introduced internationally, including MoMA, Siggraph, and Guggenheim Fellowship. Their interviews and essays will be also introduced along with their works in this show to help communication between artists and their audience. In early April, the book “New Media Art: Across Voices – 속삭임” will be published which will be available at major bookstores in Korea.
