Artist: Nick Crowe and Ian Rawlinson
Manchester based artists Nick Crowe and Ian Rawlinson have worked collaboratively since 1994. For this major exhibition they have developed a body of work that deals with issues around faith in contemporary society, its hold on the individual and its continuing ability to define communities.
FACT has commissioned three new works, The Fireworks, The Name of God and Two Leprechauns, shown alongside The Carriers? Prayer, commissioned by Film & Video Umbrella.
The works combine intelligent critique and irreverent humour with a rich and exciting visual drama
